Majordomo Staghelm (the druid one) 25 man

MS is a druid who shape shifts, every time he shifts he gains a 10% stacking buff to the damage he does called fury. Because of the fury buff he gets, we must limit the transformations he makes. When the raid's spread out he is a cat, when the raid's stacked he's a scorpion. Changing from spread to stacked causes transformations, as does changing from stacked to spread.

Scorpion - The guide suggests stacking at entrance and pulling boss. He will be scorpion with a frontal cone of fire damage that needs to be shared among the raid called Flame Scythe. Each time he uses this ability he gains one stack of adrenaline, each stack makes his cast of flame scythe come more quickly. The guide recommends using aoe heal cd's (like barrier) at the 4th stack of adrenaline and to have the raid spread out at 9 stacks on the first go, and at 5 stacks on the second and third scorpion phases. Not the first scorpion phase, but during all others he will cast a searing seed on a raid member, that person only needs to move out of the raid as the seed explodes and does 60k damage to all nearby raid members.

Cat - When we all spread out MS transforms into a cat. He summons adds which are burning cats by casting leaping flames on a raid member. Two cats should be dps'd down and then on the third one we should stack up again (I'm assuming we kill this cat as we stack). Not on the first cat phase, but on the second and third ones, MS will use his burning orbs ability, which spawns two huge orbs, aka princes, that need to be dps'd down. The guide suggests assigning 2-3 ranged to the orbs per orb. They need to swap who is closest to the orb, as the orbs deal stacking debuff to closest player, max stacks should be 5. At 5 tacks the debuff deals 31k dps per two seconds until canceled.

The guide suggests that the boss should go down within 5 transformations.

Evidently the trash here was pretty hard in ptr testing.

Name: Majordomo Staghelm
Phases:
Setup: 1 Tank, 6 Healer, 18 Dps
Enrage Timer: Its uncertain if there is a hard enrage, but there is a soft enrage
Hitpoints: Majordomo Staghelm has in 25man normal 178.40 Mill Hp
Adds called Spirit of the Flame will spawn and have 1.2 Mil Hp
General:
The encounter is unique in that way that Staghelm will adapt his mechanics to the raids actions. Majordomo will switch between his Scorpion Form, Cat Form, and his Human Form based on the raids positioning:
He will go to scorpion form when at least 18 players are stacked together - and will remain in that form as long that number is staying stacked.
He will go to cat form when there are below 18 players stacked - and will remain in that form as long that number isnt reached
He will switch to human form every third form switch.
Its not possible for the raid to keep staghelm in a single form for the entire duration, but when staghelm stays in 1 form, he will use his abilities more increasingly until he switches to another form.
Each time he switches between forms, he gains another stack of a buff which increases his damage, thats the softenrage of the encounter.
There will be the need to find a balance between the amount of time staghelm should be kept in a single form, and how often hes allowed to change forms.

Abilities:
In scorpion Form, and in Cat Form, Staghelm has a energy bar which starts out empty and will fill up to 100, the base amount for that fillign up is 20 seconds.
Staghelm has a single ability associated with each of his cat form and scorpion form. Both ablitlies have a energy cost of 100 each, and he will cast it as soon as he has the energy.
Each time he uses an ablity in either of these 2 forms, he gains a stacking buff which reduces the time until his next ability. The buff disappears altogether when Staghelm switches from.
He will selfbuff him with Fury which stacks, and gains each time he switches to scorpion form or cat form, which increases the dmg done by 8% per stack. So the more he switches forms, the higher dmg he will do.
Adrenaline is another stacking buff of his, he gains it each time he uses an ability in cat or scorpion form, which increases his energy regen rate by 20% per stack. This buff disappears when he switches out of current form. So, the longer he stays in 1 single form, the quicker his energy will regenerate and therefor he will more often his abilites.
It takes Staghelm the following amounts of time to reach 100 energy, depending on how many stacks of Adrenaline he has:

0 Adrenaline stacks: 18 seconds;
1 Adrenaline stack: 12 seconds;
2 Adrenaline stacks: 10 seconds;
3 Adrenaline stacks: 8 seconds;
4 Adrenaline stacks: 7 seconds;
5 Adrenaline stacks: 6 seconds;
6 Adrenaline stacks: 5 seconds;
7 Adrenaline stacks: 4 seconds.

Cat Form Abilities:
His melee attack hits for about 35000 dmg and will be done roughly all 2 seconds.
whenever he reaches 100 energy in cat, he performs leaping flames, pouncing on a random player and dealing damage to them and leaving a fiery void zone on the ground for 1 minute.
Each time he does leaping flames, a copy of himself, called spirit of the flame, will spawn at the boss original location. These Adds have low health and have no mechanics, but melee quite hard. As a rule they should be killed as priority.
Every cast of leaping flames awards staghelm another stack of adrenaline, which will decrease the time to next leaping flames.

Scorpion Form Abilities:
He does a melee attack, hits about 35.000 dmg all 2 seconds.
Whenever he reaches 100 energy, he performs Flame Scythe. Deals a large amount of damage, 2.250.000, split among all raid in front of staghelm.
Every cast of Flame Scythe gives him another stack of adrenaline, which will decrease the time to next flame scythe.

Human Form Abilities:
Every thrid Transformation he will go human. In that form he will stun all raid for 3 seconds with fiery cyclone, and after that cast one of 2 abilities:
if he comes from cat form - he will cast searing seeds
if he comes from scorpion form - he will cast burning orbs

Searing Seeds place a debuff on a number of raid members. It has a random duration on each raid member, at the end of it the player will explode and deal 65000 to all players in 12 yards. So because of different times, players need to move intelligent.
Burning Orbs summons 5 large not moving fiery orbs around the room for 1 minute that deal damage to the nearest standing player, dealing a 6 second dot with 5000 dmg all 2 seconds, and stacking up. Plaers need to rotate therefor regulary.

Strategy:
If he switches too often between forms, he will soft enrage in dmg and kill the raid. If he stays however too long in 1 form, he will have too high adrenaline and allows him to spam his ablities. So the switches of forms needs to balanced out good.
The exact timeframes depend bigtime on the abilities to handle the different ablities.
Cat Form Strategy:
Ranged Dps and Healers should be spread out around the center of the arena, Dps Staghelm and Spirit of the Flame adds (both should be tanked in the center of the circle) while avoiding any damage from the void zones left behind from leaping flames.
Those Zones deal extreme amounts of damage will be fatal to anyone standing within for more then a few secs. Players next to a zone should aim to stand as close to it as possible so that if they are targeted by a new zone, you dont use too much space.
The Tank should be preapred to pick up spirits of the flame. The melee hard, and more then 2 alive at the time will cause huge problems for the healers, so dps should kill them quick.
After some time he will have more adrenaline, therefor using ablities more time, and resulting in doing much more damage to the raid and also eventually becoming overwhelmed with the Spirits of the Flame. At this time he should switch to scorpion form by the raid stacking up together best closely after a leaping flame cast. This has to be done because otherwise someone in melee range to him can wipe the raid with a leaping Flames.

Scorpion Form Strategy:
In this form the raid should be stacked up together in front of the boss. this ensures the flame sycthe damage is splitted among the raid, doing 90.000 dmg to all raid.
In this phase, simply heal the raid while doing damage to the boss.
Once the damage is too big in that phase, spread out, to force him to go to cat form.

Human Form Strategy:
depending from which form he comes, he either casts searing seeds (cat) or Burning orbs (scorpion). The difficulty is not the ability, but having to deal with it in the cat or scorpion form.
Searing Seeds in Scorpion Form:
After Seeds always comes Scorpion Form.
Because players with seeds need to move out of the raid when they explode, it means they might be away from the stacking location when flame scythe hits, which lowers the split of the damge. There is no trick to this, the player sholdnt explode at any cost in the raid. The seeds however also explodes on a dead player within a 12 yard range. You can get rid of the seeds by divine shield, cloak of shadows, ice block - however, that still lets the seed to explode, so you still need to move out.

Burning Orbs in Cat Form:
Orbs will always result in catform.
Burning orbs targest nearest player, stacking the damage on that player, therefor its best that pairs of players are prepared to switch places do prevent stacks going up too high.
Burning Orbs stays for 1 minute. Divine SHield, Ice Block etc allows players to soak the damage without receiving stacks.

Learning the Fight

Because the key element for succeeding in this encounter is balancing the time spent in each form with the number of form switching, we advise you to use the following learning process:

Begin the fight in Scorpion Form and use all healing cooldowns to see what the maximum amount of time (measured in stacks of Adrenaline) you can spend in Scorpion Form is before your healers are forced to use inefficient heals to top your raid off (most likely, depending on your number of available cooldowns, this number will be 8).
Switch to Cat Form (or if you wiped, begin a new attempt with Cat Form) and see how long it takes in Cat Form before your DPS do not get any time on Staghelm anymore due to the number of adds (most likely, measured in stacks of Adrenaline, this number will be 7).
Organize your raid reduction cooldowns to best fit this cycle of form switches, so that they are, ideally, available towards the end of each Scorpion Form.

Final Considerations

The Majordomo Staghelm encounter, your raid's final obstacle before your encounter with Ragnaros, will prove a very intense experience. Simply familiarise yourselves with the boss' abilities and mechanics at the start of the fight, when everything is more forgiving, before preparing to deal him the final blow!
