Shannox 25 Man - fireland's tank and spank fight.

The fight begins when the MT engages Shannox. Keep the boss faced away from the raid, as he has an arching slash ability which will damage anyone in front of him. Riplimb will always attack the person with the highest threat on Shannox, so there is no need to build threat on this add. The OT picks up Rageface, being sure not to stand in front of the boss and thereby avoiding the arching slash. Shannox will use Jagged Tear on the MT which will debuff him for 30 seconds. Have the OT taunt Shannox and MT take Rageface for 30 seconds then taunt back when the debuff is gone. The guide suggests that the tank on Rageface should stand with the raid, because the arching slash damage is so bad and to get Rageface in the traps.

Split the raid so both dogs have melee and ranged dps assigned to them, but more melee on Riplimb and more Ranged on Rageface. 1/3 of the DPS should be assigned to the boss.

Everyone should watch out below their feet for an impact zone for Shannox's Hurl Spear. Move out of the impact zone, as the spear deals massive damage. The tanks will die if they stay in the impact zone, which leaves circles of fire.

The boss drops immolation traps and crystal prison traps on raid members, you will see the trap drop, move out of it. The dogs are damaged by them, so it's possible that Rageface can be kited into them and damaged more quickly, but not necessary to a successful kill.

Before Shannox reaches 35% health, you should switch all dps (the 1/3 who were on the boss) to the adds (most likely to Riplimb as Rageface will likely have taken extra damage from traps) and kill them both off quickly.

At approximately 35% Shannox goes into a frenzy, doing more damage and sending out more traps. He stops using his spear, and uses a magma rupture ability instead. He continues using Jagged Tear, so tank swaps continue. The guide recommends using heroism during this phase.
