Before you even bother, have you read our guild rules and goals? Does it corresponds to what you are looking for?

(X) YES ( ) NO Note: by ticking YES, you agree to follow the guild charter.

In game name (including previous names if any):
Tulcas, nimrodell, maori, sever, crawshank, formaldehyde. Formerly damalis on silvermoon realm, and blitzo, hypothermic on zenedar.

Age:
20

From:
England (middlesbrough)

Class and build:
(This is the class and specc we expect you to be raiding with. No main-alt changing and no specc changing without approval from your Class Leader. You can bring all your alts in the guild if you want, but this will be the character/specc that will be invited into raids.)
Protection paladin

Dual Spec: (Please state which 2nd spec you have with the new dual-spec system and comment your gear for it).
Ret pvp. Played around at 1800-1900 in arenas for a while, willing to spec pve ret for the purpose of raids without a fuss.

Link to your Armory, CTProfiles, or RPGOutfitters page? (If you are not using your raiding specc because of PvP or whatever reason, please link the raiding specc you will be using):
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... d&n=Tulcas

Former guilds (on Bronzebeard or on your current realm):
Critical mess, madhouse inmates

Why did you leave your former guilds?:
Critical mess came to a grinding halt all of a sudden in the 25 man raid departments, due to core raid members suddenly leaving, so i began to apply for various guilds. In the end choosing to go social for a while. I joined madhouse inmates, which is a great guild, but i dont feel the raiding level is what i'm looking for now, and with icecrown patch looming ahead i think now is the best time to be preparing for it.

What is your former raid experience (pre-TBC, TBC, WotLK)?
Everything up to yogg-saron, and some 10 man hard modes in ulduar. Cleared trial 10 man, and downed a few bosses in 25 man.

Why do you want to join Serenity?
To find like minded people that play at a similar standard, capable of taking icecrown when it comes and completing/learning hard modes in the meantime.

Do you have open applications to other guilds?
Applied to scholars of light and entropy recently. Scholars were full for tanks. Entropy had 2 tanks on trial already, i was offered a place but declined due to this. Currently no applications outstanding now.

Any member in Serenity that can vouch for you?
Perhaps, i pug a lot so maybe ive been seen around.

The important questions now. Please take a moment to think about those before you answer.

This is probably the most important question. We are a raiding guild, and even though we do not force anyone into raiding, we are expecting players that will join us to show interest in raiding at least 2-3 days each week.

Can you play at our official raiding times which are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 9pm - 1am server time?
For the most part, yes. Sunday is going to most likely cause problems. I travel friday nights to doncaster, a 2 hour trip, each week to see my girlfriend every weekend, as i'm away at university throughout the week. On sunday nights i travel back, cutting into raid times.
Having said that, i may be able to make some raids on sunday situationally. I don't travel there every week, as she comes down here sometimes.
Every other day i'm free, barring random things.

Can you log on to the Serenity website to read what is happening and sign up on the raid calendar each week whether you can attend raids or not?
Yes, ofc.

Do you intend to show up for raids prepared, PVE raid specced, repaired, enchanted, gemmed and with a proper set of buffs (food buffs and potions/flasks)?
Always.

We are using a Zero-Sum DKP system, do you agree with this? (X) YES ( ) NO

(X) I have read the Forum sticky: Intro to Serenity
(X) I have read the Forum sticky: Guild Rules and Goals

Thank you for your application.

We certainly would be looking to add a tank right now, so that fits well. If you are willing to come for a trial, we may be able to get you into ToC10/ToC10 heroics perhaps even tonight if you are not saved.

If you allow me a few suggestions:

You are only honored with SoH, meaning you do not have access to the exalted shoulder enchant. However, considering you are overcapped for defense (542), switching your shoulder enchant to Greater Inscription of the Gladiator for 10,000 honor would be much better then the little dodge you are getting from your current enchant.

You seem to be gemming often for the socket bonus. For the ToC hard mode raids, bosses are hitting really hard and in general getting maximum effective health is better then avoidance (you got 2 parry gems).
