Class and build: Ret Pally, 0/10/61
(This is the class and specc we expect you to be raiding with. No main-alt changing and no specc changing without approval from your Class Leader. You can bring all your alts in the guild if you want, but this will be the character/specc that will be invited into raids.)

Former guilds (on Bronzebeard or on your current realm):
Currently on Genjuros-EU.
In 'Project Raid' since January, but guild has unfortunately disbanded. Was the only late-raiding guild in the realm, so I am now looking to transfer to a realm with a decent, mature, late-raiding guild - hence the app to Serenity. See that Ret Paladins are full atm, but applying in the hope that you can squeeze me in.

Why did you leave your former guilds?:
As above, guild disbanded due to gradual loss of members. Genjuros is low populated realm, and many players leave due to the high-level of Greek chat in trade etc.

What is your former raid experience (pre-TBC, TBC, WotLK)?
Pre-TBC : None. Started in TBC
TBC : Only reached 70 just before WotLK so only time for Kara and Gruul. Was not a serious raider at the time
WotLK : Naxx 10/25 complete. OS10/25. EoE 10/25. VoA 10/25 + Emalon. Ulduar up to and including Freya + Hodir on 25 man, not yet completed Thorim or Mimiron as guild was winding down when progress reached them.

Why do you want to join Serenity?
I enjoy raiding, but more important RL commitments (ie. children) prevent raiding before 21:00st. Serenity raid times fit well with my availability, and your progress looks good. Guild ethos fits perfectly with mine - I want to have fun and make progress, but enjoy life outside the game too.

Do you have open applications to other guilds?
No

Any member in Serenity that can vouch for you?
Not unless anyone has come from Genjuros recently.
I am well respected on Genjuros, with no allegations of ninja-looting or other nastiness.
Number 2 DPS in previous guild.

The important questions now. Please take a moment to think about those before you answer.

This is probably the most important question. We are a raiding guild, and even though we do not force anyone into raiding, we are expecting players that will join us to show interest in raiding at least 2-3 days each week.

Can you play at our official raiding times which are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 9pm - 1am server time?
Yes. Fits very well with my schedule. The Sunday may occasionally be problematic, but other days are fine.

Can you log on to the Serenity website and sign up on the raid calendar each week whether you can attend raids or not?
Yes

Do you intend to show up for raids prepared, PVE raid specced, repaired, enchanted, gemmed and with a minimum set of buffs (food buffs and potions/flasks)?
Yes. Always have flasks and buff food. Maxed fishing and cooking to prepare Fish Feast for the raid

We are using a Zero-Sum DKP system, do you agree with this? (X) YES ( ) NO

Hello, and good luck with the apply as start.

I know Larry(one of our officers) have already posted, but I would like to post something too; as you noticed we are pretty full on rets, being me and slamdorff(actually on holydays) active, plus we have one pally tank with ret dual spec.

On the other hand, one other good ret(with the plus of dual spec as holy, if with good gear also for it), is in my opinion worth, specially in fights like Yogg.
I see you have the right enchants, the right sockets, the right stats(unable to see your weapon, unless you are doing damage with a fishing pole

).
So seem you are a good and mature person with knowledge of what you are doing ingame.
Said this, I'll renew my gluck for your apply.

However, I don't believe we have any Welsh in the guild and I'm sure it would add a more rounded balance to the UK's representation, after all we got Cloudy doing it for Scotland :lol:

On a serious note, I have respect for X-realmers as that's how I came to be here. Obviously he's done some good research and found us at the top.

We would be happy to offer you a trial if you want to transfer realm.

With summer holiday and lots of people away, I am sure you will be able to find a regular spot in the next few months, and who knows who will be back or not after the summer.

Indeed! When Marco said we had 2 active ret pallies, I thought he meant 2 pallies actively chatting with the spirit rezzer.

I will look into the transfer process, never done it before so need to check what is involved.

about the weapon........ Main weapon is obviously the fishing pole, but I use Rune Edge when I have run out of lures.

Transfer is easy and almost instant now, just log in to wow-europe, account and click the buttons.
