Before you even bother, have you read our guild rules and goals? Does it corresponds to what you are looking for?

(X) YES ( ) NO Note: by ticking YES, you agree follow the guild charter.

In game name (including previous names if any):
Strygar

Age: 25

Class and build: Rogue - Combat daggers looking to respec to combat swords

This is my main raiding spec, with the leggins being replaced to Fel Leather Leggings in 2 days. Need better enchant on chest and offhand, but I have been hoping on better gear for weeks now, but so far very unfortunate on drops and rolls.

Former guilds (on Bronzebeard or on your current realm):
Burning Blades (recently made officer)

Why did you leave your former guilds?:
To little ambition and drive for the near and far future. I have been having fun raiding Kara for some weeks, but the progress we make is slow for all the wrong reasons. People show up late, people refuse to use basic addons (DBM, OMEN, Damagemeters), to little healers showing up and almost no healers joining. I would like to play the endgame before the nex t expansion, the way we are making progress now we are lucky to try any new instance. I've been serious on reading up on tactics for bosses that where new for me, but found out that most of the other people from my guild did not.

Also there is a guild calendar but getting accepted there does not mean you will actually join the raid. I really like raiding, but if I am not in the group, I prefer to know so I can can do stuff besides WoW aswell.

What is your former raid experience (pre-TBC and TBC)?
Karazhan, incidentally Gruul (nothing really mentionworthy).
Pre TBC been to MC.

Why do you want to join Serenity?
I would like to join a guild that takes raiding serious so far that people are willing to read up on tactics, follow them, and put in effort and teamplay to reach goals. I am reaching the cap where I can get better gear myself without PvPing (which I absolutely hate). The current guild I am in doesn't provide me a lot of chances to improve my gear.

Do you have open applications to other guilds?

No

Any member in Serenity that can vouch for you?
Not that I know of.

The important questions now. Please take a moment to think about those before you answer.

Can you play at our official raiding times which are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 9pm - 1am server time?
This is probably the most important question. We are a raiding guild, and even though we do not force anyone into raiding, we are expecting players that will join us to show interest in raiding at least 2-3 days each week.

Yes. I am working till 18:00, and actually these days are perfect for me. Currently I am raiding 4 times a week. I hate waiting around for people, and I do not let people wait for me.

Can you log on to the Serenity website and sign up on the raid calendar each week whether you can attend raids or not?
Yes, internet access at work and at home (obviously :-p). I'd love to be able to use a planning, it gives me opportunity to plan my days and evenings also.

Do you intend to show up for raids prepared, PVE raid specced, repaired, enchanted, gemmed and with a minimum set of buffs (food, oils, potions)?
I always keep special food, healing pots, agility potions, poisons / flashpowders and am always fully repaired.

We are planning on using a Suicide Kings loot distribution system, do you agree with this? (X) YES ( ) NO

(X) I have read the Forum sticky: Intro to Serenity
(X) I have read the Forum sticky: Guild Rules and Goals

As I understood there was a meeting last friday concerning (among other things) my application. If there are any questions I'll be happy to answer them. Perhaps it is a good idea to use voicechat?
