LOL,

Themark, are you totally sure you want to join this "interesting" crew? :D Best of luck in your app. Just watch out for a certain Fire Mage.

Latest news:

Pathfinders have geared a retri pally for raiding. 2.3 changes just to good to miss.

Profanity is looking for/considering a retri pally for their raids come wednesday.

Not that I consider those guilds to be milestones in WOW evolution - but, hey, serious raiders they are.

Allright, just let him in...

If his dps is bad, we just force him to spec holy ^^ (no pressure).

With new 2.3 patch, I think retry is not about dps in the first place (sure Jura is right here, chances are dps output will be lower in comparison with mages/locks, spriests, rogues and hunters), but about potential raid utility retri paladin may add.

But of course trial period, if given to Themark, will allow us, and firstly raid leaders, to judge whether or not retri paladin is a good addition to the raid team.
Kind regards

in Under Pressure one of our main tanks was a pala. i have been in many raids, heroics etc together with him. i have to admit that a pala rocks in tanking, it would be a shame if we don't let one in

i have something to say about paladin dps too; there is not such a thing!

Ok here is my say.

Having experienced tanking and healing as my paladin. I have never ever had the guts to go ret. Why you may ask...well the reason for that is that they are just not viable for 10 man raids. For a 25 man raid its a different story. The ret pally is know as silent dps. This means they do not bring much to the raid for themselves, but increase the damage output of other classes. It also means holy pallys can keep up seals on bosses as the retri paladin can keep all of the seals active with crusader strike.

From what I have seen and read blizz are buffing retri pallys. Weather this is an increase in over all sustained damage or being able to increase a raid damage output more, I don't know.

Now recently I have read a couple of thing on the forums about holy paladin recruitment. From what i have seen recently, I don't see as if we have an issue with holy pallys. 3 or 4 holy pallys in a 25 man raid is more than enough.

Even though I am new to this realm and don't really know many of you, I think we should give this guy a chance and see what he can bring to benefit the guild. If we hardly notice a difference then he should have the chance of speccing holy or going prot...simple as that.

Reason, I give my thumbs up? Because I have seen one in action and if you can play properly...everyone will be pleasantly surprised.
