Actually Norwegians usually have easier understanding danes than the other way around. Apparently the wide range of your dialects you got in Norway, makes it easier for you to understand deviations. In Denmark we don't have the same variations (well, maybe except in my area with s?nderjysk :-)

even tho I have some danish relatives i cant understand it all. I just assume they want beer....

Yeah, we have a big range of dialects:)

But danish does sound like the movie to us, not that extreme ofc...its understandable, but at the same time extremely strange:P
